Prescriptions

Please note that we can only supply repeat POM-V (Prescription Only Medicine – Veterinarian) medications to animals under our care that require continuous therapy and are owned by registered clients of the Practice.

Pets requiring repeat medications will need to have a repeat prescription for that medication set up on their record and will need to be re-examined at appropriate intervals to ensure that their current medication and dose is still suitable for them.

If your pet does not have a repeat prescription set up on their record, or their prescription period has expired, we will not be able to supply repeat POM-V medications without re-examining your pet.

Medications may be collected from the Wellington Hospital, Wiveliscombe or Broadhembury Branches and all medications must be paid for in full on collection.

Our staff will be pleased to inform you of the price of any medications upon request.

Please in the first instance, use our messaging service ‘PetsApp‘ if you wish to receive your pet’s medication by post (there is a post & packaging cost), or if you are not sure what medication your pet is on, or if you have any other queries.
